Locality

Silver Glades Caravan Park is located in Cranmore within beautiful, rural West Wight, an area which is quieter than the rest of the Isle of Wight and which has many areas of outstanding natural beauty, rolling countryside, picturesque villages and breathtaking coastal scenery. 

At the same time, all the Island's attractions are within easy reach.

The caravan park can be found approximately half a mile down Hamstead Road, which is an unadapted country lane off the main Newport to Yarmouth road. See Directions for details of how to reach Silver Glades.

There is a bus stop at the top of the lane on the main road.

The Island's attractions can easily be reached by car or by using buses.

There is a good network of local footpaths leading to the beach and surrounding countryside.

There is little of the Island's cycle network in the western area.  However, the roads in West Wight tend to be very lightly trafficked, especially off the main routes.
