Silver Glades Caravan Park is located in Cranmore within beautiful, rural West Wight, an area which is quieter than the rest of the Island and has many areas of outstanding natural beauty - rolling countryside, picturesque villages and breathtaking coastal scenery. At the same time, all the Island's attractions are within easy reach. On the LINKS PAGE you will find connections to sites which give up to date information on what's happening on the Island and details of the wide range of attractions and things to do.

The caravan park can be found approximately half a mile down Hamstead Road, which is an unadopted country lane off the main Newport to Yarmouth road. (See DIRECTIONS PAGE for details of how to reach Silver Glades).

There is a bus stop at the top of the lane on the main road.

The Island's attractions can easily be reached by car or by using buses.

There is a good network of local footpaths leading to the beach and surrounding countryside.

There is little of the Island's cycle network in the western area. However, the roads in West Wight tend to be very lightly trafficked, especially off the main routes.
