The site has 3½ acres of attractive gardens and woodland which are available for the use of guests.

There are many native, mature trees, large shrub areas and herbaceous/mixed flower borders within the garden for guests to enjoy.  A few remote areas of the garden are allowed to grow wild, providing a varied habitat which attracts a wide range of wildlife.

So that guests can enjoy the garden or sit and watch the wildlife, seating is provided at various locations.

The gardens are large enough to allow children to play happily without interfering with other guests' relaxation.

The  woodland area has many mature trees which are mainly oak.  The woodland floor is managed so that guests can wander through the woods but the margins are left as a wild life habitat.  In the spring wild woodland flowers cover the ground.
