Silver Glades is a spacious and tranquil, three and a half acre garden park in red squirrel woodland.  It is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, two and a half miles from Yarmouth, Isle of Wight.

The family run site is friendly, child-safe and ideal for Island visits, walking, cycling or relaxation.

There are ten caravans, each with 2 or 3 bedrooms.

All caravans and buildings are non-smoking.  Smoking is permitted in the gardens.

Each caravan has electricity, gas and water provided.  There are no additional costs for these or any of the other facilities, with the exception of a small charge for use of the laundry washing and drying machines.

Caravan kitchens include microwave, kettle, refrigerator with ice compartment, cooker and enough equipment for six people.

Bathroom facilities include a shower, toilet and wash basin in each caravan.

Duvets and pillows are provided.  However, guests should bring pillow cases, sheets, duvet covers and towels.

Reception has a range of tourist and other information, including local walk directions and a library of books and jigsaws .

The children's summer house has play/activity equipment for younger children to use under the supervision of their carers, including wet/dry weather games.  There is also a selection of wildlife and environmental information and viewing windows from which to watch wildlife in the garden.

There is a playground with swings, climbing frame and slide, together with areas for garden badminton, football, table tennis, swing ball, cricket and rounders.  The site is particularly suitable for children up to the age of 12.

A site laundry room has washing, drying and ironing facilities and there are outdoor clothes lines for drying/airing.  There is a small charge for use of the washing and drying machines.

Concrete paths connect the caravans to the laundry room and car park.

One parking space per caravan is provided in the car park.  To maintain safety and peace, cars are not allowed in the garden.

Luggage trolleys are provided and caravans close to the car park can be requested, if mobility is an issue.

Pets are welcome provided they are supervised and not left alone in caravans or allowed to foul the site.  Pet-free caravans are available on request.
